Craig had wondered over to my cube, and was looking out the window, over the parking lot behind out building.
"Jackass", he said, pointing to a car someone had parked badly. "Jackass", he said, again, pointing to another.
"Yep, I agreed, "some people just can't park". I said this, though honestly, I never have understood Craig's impulse to play parking lot monitor. Not that it matters. He's a great co-worker and a better friend - convivial, humorous, and a general heller-about-town.
Maybe it's the heat", he replied, searching for a reason why someone would park a compact car, on a diagonal to and on top of one of the parking space border lines.
I replied, unable to resist the quip, "It's not the heat, It's the stupidity."
