It's not the heat, it's the stupidity

Craig had wondered over to my cube, and was looking out the window, over the parking lot behind out building.
"Jackass", he said, pointing to a car someone had parked badly. "Jackass", he said, again, pointing to another.
"Yep, I agreed, "some people just can't park". I said this, though honestly, I never have understood Craig's impulse to play parking lot monitor. Not that it matters. He's a great co-worker and a better friend - convivial, humorous, and a general heller-about-town.
Maybe it's the heat", he replied, searching for a reason why someone would park a compact car, on a diagonal to and on top of one of the parking space border lines.
I replied, unable to resist the quip, "It's not the heat, It's the stupidity."
